WEEKLY COMBATIVES CLASSES*

The Salt Lake City Police Department has started a Mixed Martial Arts Club, organized by 19th SFG Combatives Instructor Jared Wihongi. All 19th SFG Soldiers have been invited to attend this training, free of charge. Various Defensive Tactics specialists from SLCPD will take turns teaching 8 week cycles in their particular discipline. The class is currently being held on Tuesday evenings (see calendar for address).

Despite the association of the term MMA with organized fighting events, the focus of this club will be on street application.
